Affirmations of Spiritual Commitment – Walking with a Mission

From cradle to the cross Jesus walked within a purposeful mission!

This lesson begins by looking at an experience in the city of Jericho that illustrates the mission-mindedness of Jesus.  Amid a very confusing and busy time, Jesus still functioned with a specific mission.

Jesus also passed the baton of his mission on to his apostles.  Through their activities they demonstrate their willingness to fulfill the mission Jesus had enlisted them to accomplish.

Lastly, we will study that a similar sense of mission is to be delineated by today’s followers of Jesus.  A sense of mission and purpose is outlined in Peter’s first letter to persecuted believers.
