A Mother’s Heart

This Mother’s Day lesson focus on some unique feminine qualities visible in Mary, the mother of Jesus.

Women have a unique quality which enables them to “treasure” and “ponder” the events around them.

One thing that every godly mother longs to treasure and ponder, is her children practicing and doing what is right.  Solomon often speaks of how foolishness and evil are actions which bring dishonor and pain to mothers.  That being true, in a general way every mother rejoices when their children turn away from the evil and selfishness of this world and seek to become faithful sons and daughters of God.

This lesson ends by sharing some thoughts on how one can turn from evil, destructive paths and come to Christ in such a way as to change the very nature of one’s being.
