The Power of Grace (2)

The wall around Jerusalem was completed in fifty-two days and Nehemiah wasted no time in getting to the bigger task of rebuilding the spirituality of Jerusalem’s citizens.

Those restorative actions have their beginning in the eighth chapter of the book of Nehemiah.  This lesson examines a unique phrase that appears six times within the first nine verses of that chapter.

That phrase is,  “all the people” and it is attached to six identifying characteristics in the text.  Each characteristic is expounded upon and given application to modern believers who seek to escape their spiritual entropy by a fuller reliance upon the power of God’s grace.
