Walking Worthy of Our Calling (part 4)
This lesson concludes our study of a “worthy walk” and the years theme: J-walkers. Using Colossians the first chapter we have discovered the characteristics the Apostle Paul indicates are exemplified by those walking worthy of their calling. Those were: seeking God’s will, pleasing God, bearing fruit for God, and growing more intimate with God.
This last lesson will offer two final characteristics of a worthy walk:
- It is endures troublesome times and difficult people.
- It is consumed in joyful thankfulness.
This lesson presents the final challenge of the year, encouraging J-walkers to see that the worthiness of their walk is not contingent upon what they achieve but what they desire. How strong is your longing to walk like the Son of God?
