Walking Worthy of Our Calling (part 3)
J-walkers have an ever present objective – “to walk worthy of your calling.” Paul has encouraged believers to walk worthy in Eph. 4:1. However, it is in Col. 1:9-12 that he identifies the characteristics of that worthy walk.
In our exegesis of this text we have thus far discovered two of those characteristics: 1) walking with an understanding of God’s will, and 2) walking with the specific purpose of pleasing Him.
Our study continues in this Colossians passage to outline two more characteristics of a worthy walk:
3. It bears fruit
4. Develops more and more intimacy with God
