Heart Issues

When it comes to the real issues of Christianity they truly are issues of the heart. 

It is only the Word of God that provides the stencil which the faithful heart will trace.  Every aspect of one’s choices will be framed within God’s truth.  Those spiritual boundaries become one’s salvation and life-goal! 

The Word in the heart is what has the ability to change lives.  Going to church, setting in a pew, and engaging in good Christian deeds all have their place in the lives of spiritual people; but they are powerless in themselves to change the direction and devotion of one’s life.   That comes only from the implanted word (Jm. 1:21-22), the sanctifying truth (Jn. 17:14-17), meditation upon the statues of God (Ps. 1:1-3),  and a Word-centered-heart pumping the “law of God” all the way to feet that because of His truth – will”not slip” (Ps. 37:30-31).

This lesson looks to how Daniel’s dependence upon the implanted word changed his life even while living in a spiritually hostile environment.
