Carmel Toppings…

1Kings 18 contains the monumental contest atop Mt. Carmel.   The characters involved include:  King Ahab,  Queen Jezebel,  Palace Administrator Obadiah, and the Prophet Elijah.  Each of these bring into the events specific and significant attributes.

However, the text contains another main character – the people.  This lesson will look at some specific faith lessons we learn from the crowd of Jews who also assemble on the mountain.  From the crowd we will glean some vital principles for the spiritual “crowd” of today.
