Survival Float or Standing Firm?

Even those loving God often find themselves wrestling with their ability to trust their lives to His control.   Suprisingly this is even true when facing some of life’s most difficult moments.  One might think that such turmoil would turn troubled souls to their Savior more quickly.  However,  we are so well trained in survival techniques that we may think it less painful to survive on our own, than come face-to-face with our own inability and incompetence.

Psalm 121 offers three life-truths which can help us learn the blessings which come by letting go and letting God!  First, realize that all are SINKING IN THE DEEP.  Second, know that God invites all to STAND UPON A DECLARATION of forgiveness.  Lastly, we discover how these two produce the serendipity of being SECURE AMID DELAY.
