Jesus’ Final Friday – Tested by Prejudice

The last few hours of the life of Christ are an amazing testimony to the validity of His worthiness to be the Anchor of our daily lives.   The levels of sorrow, betrayal, desertion, and injustice which He encountered have never nor ever will be equaled by another human being.  He is literally proving Himself worthy on the deepest level of human existence.

This lesson examines the activities which take place in the house of Caiaphas.  He, being the recognized high priest by the Jews, is leading a mob who have pre-judged Jesus.  They have mentally tried the Christ and already sentenced Him to death.  They now must invent the crime around which they can wrap their prejudice.

Scripture reveals this trial is amazingly out of the practice of Jewish judiciary law, however, the reason it is so far beyond law is because this group of people are so corrupted by their prejudice.  In this study we will watch how the events unfold and how the prejudices of corrupt thinking are really the taproot of corrupt action.
