The Prompting of Grace

Our examination of the book of Nehemiah has resulted in some amazing grace discoveries:

     * The experience of grace often has its birth within a situation involving PAIN.

     * That pain becomes the motivation to engage in grace PRAYERS.

     * These things hold the possibility to turn one into a PERSON of grace.

This lesson will show how God’s grace has the ability to PROMPT His followers.  There are a number of ways in which it prompted Nehemiah.

    1.  It prompted him to understand that he did not hold the ability to change people, but God did.

    2.  God’s grace prompted Nehemiah to learn the value of waiting.

    3.  Nehemiah also shows us that grace prompts toward progress.

    4.  Nehemiah also shows that grace prepares for opposition.
