Thankfulness

When one attempts to walk differently than their self-loving nature and seeks rather to track in the path of Jesus,  they hold the possiblility of walking on a divinely empowered walkway.  That path is filled with new characteristics and habits that enable one to enjoy “life to the full!” (Jn. 10:10).   Accepting others and being a people builder are two of those radically altering characteristics that we have studied thus far.   This lesson looks at yet another part of the “J-path” – thankfulness.

When one fulfills the Biblical mandate to follow God’s will and “in everything give thanks” (1 Thess. 5:8),  the pathway of transformational living produces some new and exciting perspectives.

Improved perceptions when one walks in perpetual thankfulness include:

– A new perspective on SELF

– A new perspective on STUFF

– A new perspective of the SOVERIEGN One

– A new perspective on SERVICE

– A new perspective on STRENGTH

– A new perspective on STRUGGLES

– A new perspective on SUPPORTERS

We all have an obvious challenge is being thankful in ever situation and circumstance of life.  However, such is the will of God for those who are in Christ Jesus.  So, whatever today holds hang on to God’s divine will for your life – hold it all within hands of thankfulness!  If you succeed it will change your life and put you on the path of a true J-walker!
