Come and See

November 8th we conducted a special worship service:  “Come and See” was a time for members to invite their friends to come and see what our body of Christians is all about.

In this service two elders and our prison minister attempted to offer a Biblical and non offensive explanation for the manner in which we engage in worship.

The service began with a brief discussion of the historical background of the churches of Christ and also some of the major principles which we seek to obey.   This ws followed by capsulized statements regarding our:  praying, singing, eating the Lord’s supper, giving, and preaching.
