Jesus’ Final Saturday – The Day Fear Reigned

Jesus is in the tomb.  The disciples are inactive.  The Jews get about the task of sealing and guarding the tomb.  They all have one thing in common.  Fear!

It is fitting that fears and the resulting chaos would be so blatantly obvious while God is locked in a tomb.  One who made it all (Jn. 1;3) and upholds it all by the word of His power (Heb. 1:3) is neither on earth nor in Heaven.  He is waiting.  While He waits fear reigns.

This lesson will share some observations concerning how fear worked on this Saturday centuries ago and apply those characteristics to the manner in which it continues to work havoc today.
