The Purpose of Grace

We have discovered within the book of Nehemiah how God’s plans of grace are the only ones that have success and that success is dependant upon willing workers.  Today’s lesson looks at what reasons God has for implementing His plans.  What purposes and objectives do His plans hold?

In Nehemiah we find that the people of Jerusalem were said to be in “trouble” and “disgrace.”  So God’s plan was to provide a leader, materials, and people who could be about the task of rebuilding a wall.  But was God’s intended purpose to just make sure Jerusalem had a wall?  No.  God was rebuilding the wall to show He is bigger than troubles and that His people can glorify Him rather than be a disgrace.

This lesson will look at how neither external and internal turmoil should be granted the ability to conquer or defeat the believer’s Divine partnership purposes.
